Director proud of new nursery

The development from Schoolhouse Daycare has seen the nursery move from its head office at Singleton Hospital to premises at Llwynderw School.The new nursery has been designed to cater for up to 118 children with a staff of 18 and plans to take on a further 10 employees.Schoolhouse Daycare runs five nurseries in South Wales and the firm's director Amanda Bennett said it was hugely proud of its fantastic facilities at Sketty.She said: "As one of only a few nurseries in Wales to hold the Quality Counts Assurance Award from the National Day Nursery Association, we are absolutely committed to providing high quality childcare in happy, safe and well equipped nurseries.Sketty councillor Mike Day said: "I am pleased that Schoolhouse Daycare has been able to transfer its operations from the Singleton Hospital site to Llwynderw to enable them to continue to provide good quality childcare for families who live and work in the Sketty area."
