Caring for your Baby
As parents ourselves, we know just how important it is to get the routine and environment right for your baby from the very start.
Babies begin learning from the very minute that they focus their eyes and find their fingers. That’s why we have special baby rooms that offer a real sense of belonging and emotional well being while being colourful and interesting for the very youngest of babies.
Our highly qualified and experienced staff work to routines that are led by individual needs. Our staff ratio of one adult to three babies ensures that there is plenty of time for individual care with lots of cuddles and hugs while babies are also encouraged to interact with other children.
On joining the nursery you will be introduced to a personal nursery carer who will take primary responsibility for your baby. This ‘key worker’ system enables your baby to form a close bond with one member of staff and gives you with a dedicated person who knows your child and their routine. Your key worker will also provide you with a detailed daily report.
Of course, if you are breastfeeding then you are welcome to call in to feed your baby. We give milk feeds on demand or to fit in with your own routine. Nappies are checked regularly and changed promptly, just like you would do at home.
All activities in the baby rooms are designed to practice and build key skills appropriate to individual development needs. Our focus is on engaging with children and stimulating their senses and confidence.
